mEET THE 2023 DOG MAYOR!
Congratulations to Archie, the 2023 All Paws on Deck Dog Mayor! Archie raised over $2,600 for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, all of which will go to support local animals. Archie is a graduate of High Expectations Dog School and has received his Good Canine Citizen Certificate. Archie's family hopes he completes his training so he can help his mom in the Grass Valley Elementary library!
Camas DECA would also like to congratulate our first runner up, Njola, and our second runner up, Cherokee.

We are excited that the Camas-Washougal Post-Record featured All Paws on Deck and the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society! Hike on the Dike and the APOD Street Fair is the first event to be sponsored by both Camas and Washougal. Advisor Suzie Downs explained that "This community service project is twofold, it is a great cause... and teaches my students the importance of service."

Get Ready for apod 2023
After raising $10,000 for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society in 2022, Camas DECA is excited to announce the fifth All Paws on Deck event. Similar to last year, money will be raised through an election for APOD Dog Mayor and the street fair. Applications for dog mayor haven't started quite yet, but applications will open August 21st and close September 8th! We look forward to seeing you on September 23rd from 11am - 2pm at the APOD Street Fair!

Hike on the dike 2023
This year, All Paws on Deck is teaming up with Hike on the Dike to fundraise for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society (WCGHS)! Before coming to the APOD Street Fair on September 23rd, head over to WCGHS to walk your dog along the Columbia River Dike Trail. The walk is from 9am to 11:30 on September 23rd and will feature a live DJ, crafts, merchandise, and so much more!

About the event
Last year, Camas DECA raised $10,000 for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society through the All Paws on Deck (APOD) dog mayor race and street fair. This year, we are holding both, a virtual event, and an in-person street fair in downtown Camas on September 23rd from 11am - 2pm.
THE NEXT DOG MAYOR?
Each year, Camas DECA is proud to crown one APOD dog mayor. If your furry friend has what it takes to be the 2023 dog mayor, make sure to apply! The application window will open on August 21st and close September 8th!
Top 10 finalists will be notified by no later than September 9th, and then votes will be collected in the form of donations. Voting will begin on September 15th and end on September 22rd. The new APOD dog mayor will then be crowned at the All Paws on Deck street fair!

Come to downtown Camas on September 23rd with your family and furry friends for our street fair. From costume contests to DIYs, we have a variety of games and activities for you to enjoy with your pet.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the fourth annual All Paws on Deck fundraiser a success! Camas DECA is incredibly grateful for all those who came to the street fair, made a donation, or submitted their dog. We were able to raise $10,000 for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, surpassing last year's amount!
Everyone had a great time at the street fair, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
