After raising $13,000 for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society in 2023, Camas DECA Is incredibly grateful for your participation and support in this year’s All Paws On Deck fundraiser! Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise almost $13,000 the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society!
From the local vendors to the fun family games and, of course, the exciting Dog Mayor election, this event was a tremendous success. We couldn’t have done it without the commitment and enthusiasm from our community and volunteers.
We look forward to seeing you next year for our 7th annual APOD Street Fair!
The APOD 2024 Calendar with the Top 12 candidates is available to pre-order from now until 10/20/2023 for $15.00. Calendars will be ready for pick up at Camas High School on 11/01/2023.
mEET THE 2024 DOG MAYOR!
Congratulations to Njola, the 2024 All Paws on Deck Dog Mayor! Archie raised thousands of dollars for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, all of which will go to support local animals. A
Njola narrowly placed second last year in the most highly contested Camas Dog Mayoral race in history. As a rescue from the Las Vegas Animal Shelter after living on the streets of Las Vegas, Njola has earned much respect and street cred from other dogs in the PNW.
Camas DECA would also like to congratulate our first runner up, Beau!
About the event
Over the past 2 years, Camas DECA raised over $25,000 for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society through the All Paws on Deck (APOD) dog mayor race and street fair.
THE NEXT DOG MAYOR?
Each year, Camas DECA is proud to crown one APOD dog mayor. If your furry friend has what it takes to be the 2024 dog mayor, make sure to apply! The application window will open on August 14th and close September 6th!
Top 10 finalists will be notified by no later than September 12th, and then votes will be collected in the form of donations. Voting will begin on September 15th and end on September 20th. The new APOD dog mayor will then be crowned at the All Paws on Deck street fair!

Street Fair
Come to downtown Camas on September 21st with your family and furry friends for our street fair. From costume contests to DIYs, we have a variety of games and activities for you to enjoy with your pet.
Hike on the dike 2023
This year, All Paws on Deck is teaming up with Hike on the Dike to fundraise for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society (WCGHS)! Before coming to the APOD Street Fair on September 21st, head over to WCGHS to walk your dog along the Columbia River Dike Trail. The walk is from 8:30am to 11:00am on September 21st and will feature a live DJ, crafts, merchandise, and so much more!

We are excited that the Camas-Washougal Post-Record featured All Paws on Deck and the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society! Hike on the Dike and the APOD Street Fair is the first event to be sponsored by both Camas and Washougal. Advisor Suzie Downs explained that "This community service project is twofold, it is a great cause... and teaches my students the importance of service."
