All Paws on Deck Camas DECA’s Annual Street Fair/Fundraiser
On September 20th, Camas DECA hosted its annual All Paws on Deck street fair in the heart of Downtown Camas. This family-friendly community tradition brings together local vendors, games, activities, and entertainment in support of a meaningful cause: the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society.
The highlight of the event is the beloved Dog Mayor Election, where 16 incredible canine candidates campaigned for the title of “APOD Dog Mayor.” Each candidate collected votes in the form of donations, creating a fun and spirited competition that raised an impressive $14,000 this year to support animals in need!
Thanks to the generosity of participants, sponsors, and volunteers, All Paws on Deck continues to grow each year, strengthening community ties while giving back to an organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals across the region.

Congratulations to Chewie, the 2025 All Paws on Deck Dog Mayor!
Chewie raised thousands of dollars for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, all of which will go directly toward supporting local animals in need.
Chewie has been a community favorite, and this year he proudly earned the Dog Mayor title after an exciting race. His charm, spirit, and loyal support from the community helped lead him to victory.
Camas DECA would also like to congratulate our first runner-up, Scotch, who rallied incredible support and made this one of the most memorable Dog Mayoral elections yet!

This year, All Paws on Deck is once again teaming up with Hike on the Dike to fundraise for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society (WCGHS)! Before coming to the APOD Street Fair on September 20th, start your morning with a beautiful walk along the Columbia River Dike Trail at the WCGHS Dog Shelter, where you will also enjoy a: complimentary espresso bar, dog agility course, live DJ, raffle opportunities, merchandise sales, and more! Sign up to walk for just $20 and/or become a fundraiser for free!
