Voting is Open for the 2025 Dog Mayor Election!

It’s that exciting time of year again — the annual Dog Mayor Election is officially underway as part of All Paws on Deck (APOD), the community street fair hosted by Camas DECA in support of the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society (WCGHS).

Each year, local pups campaign for the coveted title of Dog Mayor of Camas, and the community gets to decide who takes home the crown. Every donation is a vote, with 100% of proceeds going directly to WCGHS to help animals in need. That means your support not only helps your favorite furry candidate climb the leaderboard — it also provides food, shelter, and care for countless rescue pets.

Here’s how it works:

Congratulations to Njola, the 2024 All Paws on Deck Dog Mayor! Archie raised thousands of dollars for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, all of which will go to support local animals. 

Njola narrowly placed second last year in the most highly contested Camas Dog Mayoral race in history. As a rescue from the Las Vegas Animal Shelter after living on the streets of Las Vegas, Njola has earned much respect and street cred from other dogs in the PNW.
