Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the primary DECA competition for our region is being conducted online. This week, students have been recording their roleplays via FlipGrid and are set to take their DECA exams next week. Good luck, DECA members!

During the virtual awards ceremony on January 20th (exact time TBD), one of our own Papermakers, Akshaya Sakala, will be running for the Area 9 president! You can show your support for Akshaya by listening to her speech and cheering her on. Vote Akshaya for Area 9!

The 2020 Dog Mayor is Odin!

The second annual All Paws on Deck campaign was a success. The APOD team raised $5,715.12, well over their $2,000 goal. Checks were presented to the Humane Society for South West Washington and West Columbia Gorge Humane Society.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in or supported this year's campaign, although virtual. It is great to see our Camas community come together for a good cause.

CDC Conference Rehearsal

CDC is our annual pre-conference dress rehearsal that helps DECA students for the real event. By giving DECA students, especially Marketing 1 students, the opportunity to do a practice run through with adult judges, we feel they walk away with a big competitive advantage at Area 9 Conference in January.

This event will be taking place all day at Camas High School on Thursday, December 5th.

DECA Community Project

Our DECA chapter will be holding a dog fair on Saturday, September 21st from 10am-2pm downtown Camas.

Our goal is to offer a fun-filled day for families and their four-legged friends and raise $$ for the SW Washington Humane Society and the West Columbia George Humane Society shelters.

Check out our website for more information!
